Anthony Stolarz could double as a lumberjack after his repeated chops to Ottawa's Ridly Greig, and explained what went down during Game Two.

It wasn't the easiest win for the Maple Leafs on Tuesday night but they got the job done thanks to the heroics of Max Domi, who not only secured the win but got the proverbial monkey off his back when it comes to scoring; it's a huge sign that Toronto could be in for a lot of good things to come.
Anthony Stolarz was also a huge reason why the team were able to stay in the game, making save after save and keeping his calm whenever faced with the constant pressure.
But he wasn't exactly calm all the time.
It seems that Stolarz was one of several Maple Leafs who had a problem with Ridly Greig, not only for his actions in Game One, but for him crowding his space in the crease. Well, the Leafs goalie didn't take too kindly to that, and proceeded to try and chop Greig into the ground.
Post-game, Stolarz was interviewed regarding his Game Two performance and when asked about the mini scuffle with Greig, the goaltender acknowledged that he wasn't aware of who he was hitting and frankly, it seems he didn't care:
I was just caught up in the heat of the battle... I didn't even know who it was.
While it's admirable for Stolarz to try and save some face and play innocent, it's clear that Greig's name and number were clearly visible, and knowing in the back of his mind what happened in Game One, is doing his best not to incriminate himself.
It didn't stop Stolarz from being his usual fantastic self. With the win he pushed his record so far to 2-0-0 with a 1.95 GAA and .934 SV%; so far in his first playoff series as a starter he's been outstanding.
Greig's gotten himself into a bit of trouble with the Maple Leafs over the past couple seasons.
First, he took a slap shot into an empty net for a goal which led to a Morgan Rielly suspension after he retaliated over the disrespectful actions. Then in Game One, he crosschecked John Tavares in the head, and proceeded to skate feet first into Stolarz later on.
He's been crowned 'Public Enemy Number One' in Toronto, and it would be hard to expect the team to let him off the hook even if they feel they've issued out some justice.
Next game will be in Ottawa, where Greig is more than likely going to get a hero's welcome (and looked like one of the only motivated Senators at times). But it's only going to make the Maple Leafs and Anthony Stolarz angrier.
That might come back to bite Greig and the Senators harder than they expected.
