The Leafs have struggled both on offense and defense. The results of Game 5 show that while the Leafs struggled to find offense, the defense showed the biggest challenge in keeping up with Florida.
Toronto's sole goal came not from their core-four or from their secondary threats in Matthew Knies & Max Domi, but from Nick Robertson who had prior been a healthy scratch.
