With the trade deadline approaching quickly and the Leafs looking to add to their roster, all eyes are on who will have to go, and signs are pointing to this forward.

Calle Jarnkrok Could be On the Out At the Deadline

There is no question that the Leafs have found something in the last 7 games that they have been searching for all year. It seems like everything is clicking up and down the lineup, especially in the forwards group. With the Leafs looking to add a defenseman at the deadline, this raises the question about which forward could be on the way out.

Now, eyes are turning to Calle Jarnkrok as the potential forward who could be traded out of Toronto. Jarnkrok is a solid player, and at a pretty nice AAV for the Leafs, however, that could be exactly what a team needs, and his value could bring what the Leafs need on defense.

Jarnkrok can play the penalty kill, and is a 20-goal scorer. He is a great depth option for any team looking to add scoring, while only carrying a 2.1 million AAV.

Leafs Might Be Selfish and Keep Jarnkrok

Some fans are getting excited about the potential of keeping Jarnkrok, and what the lineup could look like heading into the playoffs. With the Leafs having so much success without him, his return seems like a cherry on top.

Jarnkrok in for Reaves then a deadline add in for Lagesson and that's probably as optimal as it's gonna get this season.

It's obvious that the Leafs will have some roster changes coming up as the deadline approaches and players get healthy. We will see what Brad Treliving does.
