The Reason Behind the Leafs and Kings' Game Delay Is Revealed

To the surprise of many fans, tonight's game between the Maple Leafs and the Kings will not be at the usual time, but an hour later. The puck is set to drop at 8 p.m. ET instead of 7.
A recent report has revealed why the game is delayed.
According to David Alter, this strategic decision was made to draw more Kings fans to watch the game. It will be at 5 p.m. instead of 4 in L.A.
