Recently, a video has emerged showing Auston Matthews training in the Arizona Coyotes practice facility.
He can be seen sporting his St. Pats skates which is certainly a style choice with the Maple Leafs blue.
Concern For Next Season
While Matthews seems to be practicing and prepping for next season, Leafs fans are worried it will be his last in Toronto.
He clearly enjoys being closer to home in Scottsdale with his family and choosing not to practice in Toronto's superior facilities is one Matthews likely did not think twice about.
Until his contract is signed with the Maple Leafs, we will not be able to say for certain that Matthews will stay in Toronto for the foreseeable future which is quite unnerving.
