Sheldon Keefe Takes a Shot at Kyle Dubas in New Interview
It appears as though the changes in the Maple Leafs Front Office are sitting nicely with head coach Sheldon Keefe, as he had this to say about the 2 new coaching hires:
"It's as complete a staff as we've had in my time."
Seems as though Keefe hasn't been happy with the staffing when Kyle Dubas was leading the charge. It appears there might be some hard feelings.
Dubas off to Hot Start in Pittsburgh
Kyle has been quite busy since taking over as President of Hockey Operations in Pittsburgh, as he is also currently acting as the GM for the Penguins. He has made multiple key signings including ex-leaf Andreas Johnsson, forward Matt Nieto, defenseman Will Butcher, and goaltenders Magnus Hellberg and Alex Nedeljkovic. He also traded for Reilly Smith who is just coming off a Stanley Cup Victory with the Vegas Golden Knights.
