Virtue and Rielly have always kept their relationship to themselves. When finally making their relationship public, Rielly noted to the media that he wouldn't talk about their relationship too much.

Since making their relationship public, the two have been noted by hockey fans as being royalty when it comes to couples who can skate. Virtue, a 2-time Olympic gold medalist figure skater and 3-time figure skating world champion was widely considered one of the best female figure skaters in Canada before stepping away from the game in 2019.
Even though the marriage has yet to be officially confirmed by Rielly or Virtue, Canadians can be happy to see their star athletic couple making the next step in their relationship.
