The Maple Leafs biggest need this off-season is their goaltending, and with links to Carter Hart persisting, it appears that the Leafs need to desperately move off veteran goaltender Matt Murray.

With the salary cap situation for both teams and the potential involvement of the Flyers to land Carter Hart in Toronto, there's plenty of moving parts to make a potential deal like this happen.
However, we saw the success that Montreal had in the Monahan deal, landing a future first-round pick from the Flames, and given that the Canadiens are unlikely to contend next season, this is another way to get a future asset or two if Philadelphia get involved.
