Analyst Makes an Eye-Opening Claim Regarding Sheldon Keefe
Is Sheldon Keefe Really Safe?
Even though Brad Treliving confirmed Sheldon Keefe's job wasn't in jeopardy next season, some people still think that he isn't safe in Toronto.
We've often seen this in the NHL. For example, when Kent Hughes fired Dom Ducharme in January after he said he would be behind the bench for the whole season.
According to a hockey specialist, if the Leafs have a rough start, Keefe is as good as gone.
If the Leafs perform well, Keefe's the next one to go. With only a season left on his contract, it wouldn't cost much to replace him.

With the hirings earlier this week of Guy Boucher and Mike Van Ryn, there's a good coaching staff in place if Keefe is fired.
Boucher has experience as a head coach, and he could very well take Keefe's place.
