Maple Leafs' Latest Move Could Suggest an Important Injury Within the Lineup

The Toronto Maple Leafs brought up defenseman Mikko Kokkonen from the Marlies ahead of their last matchup against the Nashville Predators.
The defenseman took part in the warmups with his team, indicating a potential last-minute decision regarding their defensive lineup.
"The @MapleLeafs have recalled D Mikko Kokkonen from the @TorontoMarlies on an emergency basis."
The Leafs are currently coping with many injuries to key players like John Klingberg, Timothy Liljegren, and Mark Giordano.

More Problems at the Maple Leafs' Blue Line

William Lagesson, who stepped up in Giordano's absence, has been sick for a week and hasn't played since December 2nd, making him unavailable for the last game. It seems that after the morning practice, head coach Sheldon Keefe realized one of his defensemen might need a rest, leading to Kokkonen's recall.
Kokkonen, drafted in 2019 by the Leafs at the third round, scored two goals and four points in 17 games with the Marlies this season.
Do you think Kokkonen will play the Leafs' next game?
