Maple Leafs Announce New Head Coach Ahead Of Tournament
Some new information regarding the upcoming rookie tournament has surfaced.
Preparing for the Rookie Tournament
The Maple Leafs will travel to Traverse City to participate in a rookie tournament that starts tomorrow, the 14th.
They will play three games against the Blue Jackets, the Stars, and the Red Wings.

They've revealed their roster for the tournament:
"Leafs unveil a roster that will participate in the Traverse City Prospect Tournament this week.
Features Cowan, Minten, Hildeby, Knies, Voit, Hirvonen, Niemelä, Villeneuve & Tverberg.
Marlies coach John Gruden will oversee the team."
The Coaching Staff
Kyle Cushman revealed who will be the coaching staff during the tournament.
"John Gruden will be Toronto's head coach at Traverse City. He'll have support from Michael Dyck, Eric Wellwood, Hannu Toivonen, and Troy Paquette from the Marlies.
Harry Mahesh, most recently an assistant with the BCHL's Powell River Kings, will also be on the staff."
So, essentially, the Marlies' coaching staff will work behind the bench for these games.
We can't wait to see the Leafs prospects in action!
