John Tavares Has Strong Words For Maple Leafs Top Prospect

During that event, the Leafs' captain, John Tavares, made a statement about one of the best prospects in Toronto.
Tavares Has Strong Words for Knies
Matthew Knies is definitely at the top of the Leafs' prospect pool, and fans can't wait to see him for a whole season. Back in the spring, he made quite an impression, scoring 5 points in 10 games.
John Tavares had kind words for the rookie during an interview at the Player Media Tour:
"John Tavares calls former Gopher Matthew Knies 'a huge home run for us... His potential is through the roof.'
We can't wait to see both of them on the ice!
