A few players in the NHL will go to Las Vegas this week for the NHL's annual North American player media tour.
The NHL's North American player media tour is this week in Las Vegas. John Tavares and Ilya Samsonov are representing the Leafs.

Every year, each teams send a pair of key players for that event. This year, instead of Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner or William Nylander, they've decided to send their captain and their goaltender: John Tavares and Ilya Samsonov.
Many NHL players are there to create some content that will be released over the season.
