Leafs Fans Upset Over Sheldon Keefe's Treatment By Management
The Toronto Maple Leafs have recently announced Brad Treliving as their new General Manager, replacing Kyle Dubas, who has transitioned to the role of President of Hockey Operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Fans Not Happy With Brad Treliving
However, the situation with head coach Sheldon Keefe has been a primary concern for many Leafs fans. Treliving has made it known that he plans to sit down and discuss with Keefe before making any decisions, an announcement that has unsettled a portion of the Leafs Nation.

"He's in a unique situation. That's the business," Treliving said, commending Keefe, "I think he's a really good coach."
"I look at how a group of really skilled players has gotten better at checking, defending, and doing those things you need to win," Treliving shared his insights about Keefe's group. "So, we're going to sit down and we're going to have a thorough process and try to do it as quickly as possible and come to a conclusion.»

Keefe's Future Remains Uncertain
Since then, however, Treliving has not made any further comments on whether he plans to re-sign Keefe or find a replacement. This has stirred some resentment considering the commendable job Keefe has done since his appointment as the head coach.
Many analysts and insiders are of the opinion that Keefe will, and should, return. However it appears as though Treliving might be exploring other options before deciding Keefe's future with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
