With the additions of Lucic and Perry the leafs would become a tougher harder team to play. Toews and Pacioretty add a depth to a Leafs team they have not seen with both offensive and defensive abilities.

The addition of Erik Karlsson would turn an already good powerplay into a near perfect powerplay with Karlsson's abilities to pass the puck to both Marner and Matthews.
