Just days after the eventful firing of Kyle Dubas, Leafs fans are still trying to predict what's next for their franchise. It appears Dubas has wasted no time moving on from the Leafs, as he appears to have cut all ties with the organization.
Dubas Updates His Twitter Account
Kyle Dubas has made his first (unofficial) statement since his firing, in the form of updating his Twitter account to reflect his (lack of a) job.
Dubas has removed his title of Leafs General Manager from his Twitter bio and has also removed Toronto as his location. In addition, he removed his "header", which was a panoramic shot of Scotiabank arena.
It also appears as though he's unfollowed Leafs President Brendan Shanahan, which may be petty, but who wants to follow the guy who just fired them?
It doesn't appear as though Dubas is taking the firing too well, and we don't blame him. Hopefully, we see him back with another organization soon, so we can hear more about his side of the story.
