Brad Treliving will have big decisions to make about the goaltender situation in Toronto.

Matt Murray will probably be traded, as we mentioned a couple of days ago.

Samsonov will probably get a contract extension, and Woll should be the number two next year. However, Treliving might take a completely different route. An insider made a surprising prediction as to who'll start in the Leafs' net next season.

Vladar in Toronto?

Eric Francis, a renowned analyst for Sportsnet, made the prediction a while ago that Treliving would join the Leafs. He also predicted that he'd take Daniel Vladar with him.

The Leafs have the assets to trade for him, especially if they're ready to move on from Nylander or Murray. Also, Vladar has a cap hit of $2.2M for the next two seasons, which could help the Leafs deal with other free agents.

In Calgary, the Flames have Dustin Wolf on standby, waiting to make the jump, and could use another top-six forward.

This trade makes sense and it wouldn't be surprising to see Vladar in a Leafs shirt next season.
