It was just announced by TPS Turku that Timo Hirvonen, father of Roni, has passed away at the age of 49.

Hirvonen has a lengthy career in the Finnish LIIGA having his number 33 retired by the Espoo Blues.
His legacy will be carried on by his son Roni who was a second-round pick for the Maple Leafs in 2020.
