Last night, the Marlies played against the Belleville Senators. Right after the end of the second period, when players were returning to the locker room, a renowned enforcer for the Senators made a major dirty move.

While retreating for the 2nd intermission, Bokondji Imama passed by Marlies' goalie Dennis Hildeby and speared him with his stick.

Hildeby's teammates saw that, and it didn't take long before someone jumped towards Imama to drop the gloves.

This led to a brawl involving most players on the ice and a spirited fight between Imama and Kyle Clifford.

Take a look at how it went down:

Hildeby Makes Shutout in First Game Back From the NHL

In December, Dennis Hildeby got called up with the Maple Leafs to replace Ilya Samsonov, who was sent down to the AHL.

In the few weeks he spent with the Leafs, Hildeby didn't end up playing his first NHL game, as Martin Jones was holding down the fort. In a surprising twist, Samsonov returned to the Leafs earlier this week.

Last night, against the Senators, in his first game back from the Leafs, he got a shutout.

This proves that the goalie, despite being only 22 years old, has the right attitude to have a long career in pro hockey. There's no doubt that he could rise within the Leafs' organization and have a big role in the team's future success.
