The Toronto Maple Leafs have just revealed their lineup for tonight's game against the New York Islanders, and there is a surprising shakeup in the lineup.

Leafs Defense Gets Shakeup Ahead of Islanders Game Tonight

The Toronto Maple Leafs are set to take the ice tonight against the New York Islanders down on Long Island, in what could be a milestone game for John Tavares, just 2 points shy of 1000 in his career, the Leafs rolled out similar forward lines for their morning skate.

Can John Tavares make history back where it all started?

The Maple Leafs captain can become the 98th player in NHL history to reach 1,000 career points.

Toronto takes on the New York Islanders tonight, the team that drafted Tavares #1 overall in 2009.

However, on the blue line, things have shifted a bit. With Timothy Liljegren edging his way back into the lineup from his ankle injury, the Leafs are looking different on defence each and every day. Notably, Max Lajoie has found himself on the bubble of scratching the lineup.

Here were the lines this morning at the Leafs' morning skate.
