The Maple Leafs have been without some of their best defenseman but one of them is finally returning from injury to help out on the blue line.

It was just announced by reporter David Alter that William Lagesson is returning from his sickness that has kept him out for over a week.
William Lagesson is taking part in the morning skate. He's been out with an illness.
Lagesson is projected to be on the Leafs' second pairing alongside Jake McCabe for tonight's game against the Islanders.
