Giordano and Samsonov Set To Return Tonight Against Blue Jackets
It is good news for Leaf fans today, as they can be excited for the return of defenseman Mark Giordano. Giordano has been out with a hand injury for some time and will make his return from the LTIR.
Ilya Samsonov is also set to make his return tonight in net for the Leafs, after missing the last few games. Samsonov will hope to get back into form after struggling over the last few games.
Update: D Mark Giordano will officially return to the Leafs lineup tonight, and G. Ilya Samsonov will be back in goal this evening.
With Giordano's return, the Leafs have made it through the slog of injuries to their blueline. The remaining injury is to John Klingberg, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the year.
