The Toronto Maple Leafs held a practice today on their off day. The most informational part of practice was the debut of new line combinations.

Domi and Jarnkrok switched lines in the third period yesterday. Looks like it may stick today.

The switch comes from yesterday's game against the Minnesota Wild and seems to remain in practice today. Calle Jarnkrok slides up the lineup swapping with Max Domi.

Sheldon Keefe was asked about the reason for the switch and had this to say.
I thought the Tavares-Nylander line could use more defensive help. I thought that the Minten and Knies line could use a little more offensive push, punch, and playmaking. I just decided to make that switch.
I thought it worked well. I thought both guys � Jarny and Max � kind of had their best periods of the six-plus that we have played here. That was good.
Jarny scored us a huge goal. That was encouraging.

Other than that the lines look the same heading into tomorrow's game against Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks. This will be the Maple Leafs' first opportunity to face off against the 2023 first-overall pick.
