BREAKING: Massive Update On Toronto Maple Leafs Forward Matthew Knies
Matthew Knies has been sidelined for the past two games with an illness and we now know how he is doing on his road to recovery.
Knies Returns To The Top Six Hinting At Him Returning Next Game
Leafs reporter David Alter just revealed some major news on rookie forward Matthew Knies who missed the last two games with an illness.
Noah Gregor is wearing white and Matthew Knies wearing blue. We could see Gregor move back to the bottom six here as the skate is now underway. Knies wearing blue means he is practicing with the top six while Gregor wearing white means he is practicing with the bottom six. The last time Knies practiced, he was practicing as the 13th forward so seeing him back in the top six hints at him returning for the Leafs' game tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
We will get an official announcement closer to game time but this should solidify Knies' return.
