The Maple Leafs have made some very notable acquisitions this offseason headlined by players like Max Domi and Tyler Bertuzzi.
Today, the Maple Leafs announced the numbers their newest players will wear.
Max Domi has chosen to wear number 11. His father Tie wore 28 for the Leafs. Number 11 has been worn by Leafs such as Zach Hyman, Olli Jokinen, and Owen Nolan. It was most recently worn by Colin Blackwell in 2022.
Bertuzzi chose 59, an uncommon number in Leafs history. It was most recently worn by Jaime Devane in 2014.
John Klingberg chose 3, a very common number for defenseman. It was worn by Justin Holl just last season.
Finally, Ryan Reaves chose 75, a number never worn in Leafs history.
