The Toronto Maple Leafs and GM Brad Treliving have made a final decision on Ilya Samsonov after sending him to the AHL.

Maple Leafs Call Goaltender Ilya Samsonov Up To The NHL

The Toronto Maple Leafs have officially called goaltender Ilya Samsonov back up to the NHL.

The @MapleLeafs have recalled G Ilya Samsonov from the @TorontoMarlies.

G Dennis Hildeby has been loaned to the Marlies.

In conjunction with this move, Dennis Hildeby was sent to the AHL after not playing a game with the Leafs.

Samsonov has not been great this season but hopefully this stint in the AHL will help him regain his confidence.
