Crosby currently sits at 1502 career points, and he is 83 points away from breaking into the top 10 points all-time in the NHL. Last season, Crosby had 93 points, and the season before he had 84, so it should be no problem for him to eclipse that mark.
How it Started
As the players were leaving the ice at the conclusion of the game, Sidney Crosby saw a young fan wearing a Kris Letang shirt who was excitedly watching the players leave. He was cheering them down the tunnel as the players headed down the tunnel. Crosby noticed this and tossed the young fan a puck
The reaction from the child looked to be one of the happiest and most excited kids ever. It easily made his night as he jumped for joy and screamed with enthusiasm. The parents could not get him to sit still for a photo after he had the puck as well.
