Jaromir Jagr Set To Return To The Penguins
Jaromir Jagr is in the conversation of the best players in the history of the NHL. At the age of 51, he is still playing hockey and a rumour is going around that he is potentially considering a return to the NHL. We all know he isn't but let's act like he is!
Jagr To Pittsburgh
According to NHL News Update, Kyle Dubas is reportedly well-advanced in negotiations to bring the hockey legend back to the Penguins. While this is just a rumor it would be incredible to see Jagr lace up the skates at the age of 51.
Can Jagr Contribute?
While Jagr's return would likely be a formality to allow him to officially retire from the NHL as a part of the Penguins' organization it does make you think. Could Jagr still be a contributing factor on an NHL team?
He played last season in the Czech league putting up 14 points in 26 games. While this is not a superstar pace it is good enough to probably hang around on an NHL roster if Jagr's body could hold up.
