Heartbreaking News in Pittsburgh as a Legend Passes Away
We received terribly sad news in a Pittsburgh today as legend Stan Savran passed away.
Rest in Peace to a Legend
Stan Savran, best known for his incredible broadcasting for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pirates, passed away June 12th.
His pre, and post-game shows will be remembered by fans to have been insightful and entertaining.
Stan Savran, Pittsburgh broadcasting legend, delivered some of the best announcements in Penguins history. He was a friend and a true professional at his craft. As long-time listeners, who loved the show, we will miss you, Stan.
Rest in peace to one of the greats.
