BREAKING: Penguins Add Player Through Waivers
The Pittsburgh Penguins have added a Forward off Waivers, giving a potential depth option for the team's bottom-six.
Penguins Get New Forward
The Pittsburgh Penguins have claimed F Jansen Harkins off Waivers, according to Sportsnet NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman.
Harkins, who was waived by the Winnipeg Jets, is a 26-year-old Forward who can play at Center and at Wing.
Harkins spent his four year career with the Winnipeg Jets, appearing in 154 Career NHL Games, with 13 Goals, 14 Assists & 27 Points. Harkins had 3 Goals and 5 Points in 22 Games for the Jets last season, as well as a strong 25 Goals & Assists for a 50 Point season in just 44 Games for their AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose.
Harkins was a second-round selection of the Jets in the 2015 NHL Draft, 47th Overall. He made his NHL Debut in the 2019-20 Season.
