Trade Proposal sends Carter Hart to the West
The NHL is a league stacked full of talented young goaltenders right now, and one name that has been overshadowed in recent years is Carter Hart, but could a change of scenery fix that once and for all?
A promising start

In 2019-20, Carter Hart put together an incredible season, posting a 24-14-3 record with a .914 save percentage and 2.42 GAA, and at just 21-years of age, the future was looking bright.
Since then however, surrounded by a struggling Flyers team, Hart hasn't managed to get back to that same level, so it appears a change of scenery could very well be on the horizon.
Hart to the West?
One team that could use a major upgrade at the goaltender spot is the Seattle Kraken, and now, a mock trade has been found that would bring these two parties together:
To Seattle: Carter Hart.
To Philadelphia: Phillip Grubauer, 2024 first-round pick and David Goyette.
To Philadelphia: Phillip Grubauer, 2024 first-round pick and David Goyette.
On paper, this is a move that benefits both sides, as Grubauer could have a bounce back year and be a big asset for Philly at the deadline, as well as getting future assets, and with a new lease on life, Hart could thrive with the young, talented team in Seattle.
