Ottawa Senators head coach Travis Green didn't sound too comforting with his post-game comments, and Brady Tkachuk didn't end up helping things either.

Well it certainly didn't turn out the way the Senators had hoped, heading down 2-0 to Toronto when they head back home. The team is looking to bounce back offensively and try to make it a series before they end up really having to make a strong comeback.
Going back home certainly will help things, and the fan atmosphere might be the critical X-Factor that Ottawa needs to secure one and potentially two victories. But if some post-game comments from the team are any indicator; they aren't even close to waving the white flag.
Head coach Travis Green was blunt in his assessment of his team's performance and stated firmly:
There is no panic.
Meanwhile, captain Brady Tkachuk, who hasn't really picked things up as quickly as the team needs, was also very confident with his team's ability to turn things around:
Honestly, there's not one ounce of panic in here. We're looking forward to getting home and for the Canadian Tire Centre to be buzzing.
Buzzing could be an understatement after all the controversy surrounding the ticket distribution in Ottawa and how fans are actively trying to make it hell for Maple Leafs fans to find themselves cheering on their team.
The Ottawa faithful won't take complacency though, and for as passionate as they are in hating their provincial rivals, the crowd also won't be too thrilled with their own squad if they can't pick it up and go down 3-0, so the onus is on Tkachuk and company to dictate the pace early.
Tkachuk has only one goal on ten shots, and while he was able to light the lamp in Game Two, the team is going to need him to show up more often if they want any chance of success; not to mention Tim Stutzle, Dylan Cozens, and Claude Giroux need to find their game soon.
One positive heading into Game Three is the discipline of the Senators was a polar shift from Game One.
They only had two penalties and played a lot tighter overall, something Green has to be happy with, and is a sign that Ottawa could be turning things around just in time.
But we have to wait and see how Game Three plays out. If Green's team can come out swinging it's going to have to potential to turn the tide of the series.
Though if Toronto comes out with a 3-0 lead?
Panic definitely needs to start settling in.
