BREAKING: NHL cancels its first game
The NHL made a decision concerning a game that was scheduled to happen tonight.
NHL Postpones Game Between Rangers and Islanders
The state of New York is currently in a state of emergency due to massive flooding.
Both teams released the same statement to announce their decision to play the game Saturday night instead.
"The New York Islanders game tonight against the New York Rangers at UBS Arena has been postponed due to flooding and the state of emergency declared by New York State. The game will be made up tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at UBS Arena."
