The Montreal Canadiens have had a major youth movement over the past couple of seasons. With additions like Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and Kirby Dach the Canadiens are looking to head back to the playoffs. This weekend two of these stars got into some trouble together.
Suzuki And Caufield Go Golfing
Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield decided to spend this past weekend golfing together. The duo went out to one of the most famous clubs in all of Quebec Memphrémagog Golf Club. During their time they got themselves into some hot water.
The club is known for being very exclusive and private. Along those lines of privacy, the course has some very specific rules not used by most other places. According to reports by Max Truman the two Canadiens stars broke some of these rules.
Caufield And Suzuki Break Course Laws
Truman reported that the pair shared a couple of photos from their outing on Instagram seen below.
While on a normal course documenting a round with your buddies is harmless and all in good fun at this specific course that was not the case. According to Truman, no one is allowed to photograph the course while playing on it. Beyond that players are not even supposed to have phones with them while playing. This means that both Suzuki and Caufield broke multiple laws of the club.
The 2 photos shared on Instagram by Cole and Nick are among the very rare images taken and published at the Memphrémagog Golf Club in the last 20 years!
Believe me, it did not please many people so much so that the stories disappeared quite quickly.
Truman says that the club is very upset with the group. The club's 200 members are still working through what if any discipline will be handed down on the rule breakers.
