Canadiens Roasted for Picking Slafkovsky over Cooley

Last night's Canadiens and Coyotes game saw two former first-rounders go head-to-head. The Canadiens' first overall pick Juraj Slafkovsk and the Coyotes' third overall pick Logan Cooley duked it out in a game that ultimately lead to a win for the Coyotes.

The win wasn't enough for the Coyotes, as they took to social media to hilariously mock the Canadiens for picking Slafkovsky over Cooley.

The win against Montreal wasn't enough for the Yotes as they roast the Habs for taking Slafkovsky over Cooley in the 2022 draft 👀

Cooley leads all rookies with 8 points, while Slafkovsky has just 1 in 10 games to start the season.

Cooley Having an Incredible Year

Logan Cooley is having an incredible start to the season. While he has recorded just 1 goal, he has tied on 7 helpers for 8 points in 10 games played. Cooley leads all NHL rookies in points and assists, and is making a case for himself for the Calder if he continues his production.
