The NHL has seen some incredible goaltenders come and go over the years, but one that has stood out among all others in this generation is Marc-Andre Fleury of the Minnesota Wild.
History maker
Of all the accolades that this three-time Stanley Cup winning goaltender has put together, perhaps none show his longevity more than his amazing win tally, which will likely be added too in 2023-24.
Despite being in his 20th year, Fleury still looks fantastic in net, and with 544 career wins, he sits just seven behind Patrick Roy for No. 2 on the NHL's all-time leaderboard.
A mark of consistency
While No. 1 with Martin Brodeur at 691 is seemingly impossible for anyone to reach, with just 8 wins, Fleury will pass Roy at some point this season, assuming he gets enough game time in Minnesota.
Beyond that, Fleury is a five-time All-Star, 2010's all-decade first-team, a one-time Vezina Award winner and a three-time Stanley Cup Champion, and if he passes Roy in 2023-24, there will be no doubting that he's among the best goaltenders of all-time.
