During the latest episode of the 32 Thoughts podcast, insiders Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek talked about an idea that wasn't well received by many fans.

Baffling Rule Change Proposal Leaves Leafs Fans Scratching Their Heads

In the last game between Toronto and Florida, Ryan O'Reilly received a stick in the face and bled, but no penalty was called.

The co-animators of the podcast mentioned the idea of making Ryan O'Reilly and the other players who don't wear a visor ineligible to draw a double minor penalty or high-sticking.

The logic behind it is actually not bad. The players choose to not wear visors. They know the risks and still don't wear them. The idea is drastic, but just wear the damn thing!

"Listening to 32 Thoughts and they floated the idea of making Ryan O'Reilly ineligible to draw a high-sticking double minor moving forward because he doesn't wear a visor, and if that's not the peak of "change a rule because the Leafs drew attention to something", not sure what is."

Do you think the visor should be mandatory?
