In the third period of a tightly contested game between the Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets Matthew Tkachuk threw a big hip check at Mark Scheifele.

Scheifele took exception to the hit and went after Tkachuk asking for a fight. Tkachuk happily obliged and absolutely destroyed Scheifele in the ensuing fight.






Scheifele while he did get smoked in the fight completed a Gordie Howe hat trick recording a goal, assist, and fight in the same game. Matthew Tkachuk comes out of the fight proving he is still one of the most aggressive players in the NHL.
