BREAKING: Edmonton Oilers Place Player on Waivers
A few minutes ago, the Edmonton Oilers confirmed a roster move after the acquisition of Corey Perry.
Oilers Place Erne on Waivers
Corey Perry's signature was made official earlier today by the Edmonton Oilers.
He has even already joined his teammates on the ice:
To insert Perry in the lineup, they had to reconfigure their roster.
Adam Erne was to one to pay the price and was placed on waivers.
Adam Erne isn't on the ice for Oilers practice. The Oilers need to clear a contract to fit in Corey Perry. Today's waivers are announced at noon MT.
In 23 games this season, Erne has two points, including one goal. He's currently playing under a one-year deal that he signed last summer.
