While retrieving a puck in the Leafs' zone, Conor Timmins sent Brandon Tanev flying into the boards with a quetionable hit.

A few minutes ago, the NHL and Gary Bettman announced the verdict for Maple Leafs defenseman Connor Timmins.
"Toronto's Conor Timmins has been fined $2,864.58, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for cross-checking Seattle's Brandon Tanev."
3k isn't much for a hockey player, but considering that it really seemed like an accident, it's a fair punishment.
