Tonight the Detroit Red Wings are in a must win scenario against the Montreal Canadiens. With just 3.3 seconds left they kept their season alive with an insane goal.

A faceoff with just three seconds and down a goal seemed to the be setting for the end of the Detroit Red Wings season. Instead they would win the faceoff and forward David Perron would put home a slapshot from the blue line to tie the game.


The goal would send the game to overtime and keep the Red Wings playoff hopes alive for the time being. With several games on the brink of finishing Red Wings fans wait with baited breath to learn their final fate.
