Paul Bissonnette Reveals His Anger With the Perry/Bedard Scandal
Paul Bissonnette recently took to his podcast to share his anger with fans for their part in the Perry scandal and for spreading rumors about Connor Bedard.
Bissonnette Furious With Fans For Treatment of Bedard and Family During Perry Scandal
Paul Bissonnette is one of the best voices for the players in the NHL, as he has been vocal on a number of issues and has a close relationship with almost everyone in the NHL. When the Perry scandal went down, Bissonnette was furious to see how fans easily spread rumours about Bedard and his family.
I was very let down with all these f***ing idiots on Twitter. Now, most of you would be like, 'What do you expect from these f***ing idiots out there all the time, just trying to stir it up?' And I was f***ing disgusted by what happened.
Bissonnette was also highly impressed with how well Bedard handled the situation, given the fact that he is just 18 years old and in his first year in the NHL. Bissonnette thinks that he handled the whole thing with maturity beyond his years.
"This is this guy's personal life. So, as far as Connor Bedard handled it, and the way that his f***ing family had to deal with this, like he handled it with ultra class. And they've obviously raised a very intelligent kid, and a kid that couldn't have handled himself more appropriately during this f***ing bullsh*it time that he had to deal with."
Bedard Continues to Impress Amognst the Drama
Bedard has continued to put personal things aside and impress on the ice during the drama. He is now up to 20 points in 24 games, with 11 goals and 9 assists. This is highly impressive, considering the drama surrounding the team and the fact that the Blackhawks aren't very good.
Connor Bedard scores his first NHL shootout goal, and it's a BEAUTY!
Bedard knee drop snipe!! 😮💨
If Bedard continues at this pace of development, he will be winning more than just a Calder Trophy in his career.
