Nick Foligno Hints At A Secret Corey Perry Trade With Concerning Quote

Prior to Wednesday's game between the Blackhawks and Blue Jackets, Chicago announced that Corey Perry would be a healthy scratch due to an 'organizational decision'. Perry was also noticeably absent from team practice on Thursday, which has raised further concern. Although it isn't known whether the scratch was for trade reasons or regarding a private matter, veteran forward Nick Foligno spoke out today about the impact on the decision.

While the organization has kept the matter very private, it is easy to see how distracting something like this can be, especially to a young team like the Blackhawks. It is refreshing however to see that older guys like Foligno are stepping up to help lead this group and keep them focused.
