He was considered week-to-week, but only a day later, he was listed as day-to-day, and now, Luke Richardson has announced that he'll play tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Hall to Play Tonight Despite Injury
Hall missed only one game for what was considered a week-to-week injury.
What's even worse is that the Hawks know his shoulder doesn't feel great but have decided to let him play anyway.
Here's what Ben Pope, an insider covering the Blackhawks, reported:
"Taylor Hall plans to play tomorrow vs. Toronto, meaning he'll have missed just one game.
His shoulder doesn't feel great, but it's good enough to play."
Hall also made a declaration about the hit that could explain why the injury is less serious than they thought:
Hall said he briefly talked to Brandon Carlo and he isn't upset about the hit.
"When I watched the replay, it was a fast play. I put myself in a vulnerable spot. Was it a hit to the head? Maybe, but I passed the concussion protocol with ease. I'm just dealing with a shoulder issue. That's hockey; that's how it goes."
Let's hope that he doesn't aggravate his injury against the Maple Leafs tonight...
