Things Getting Even Worse for Jack Edwards After Terrible Play by Play Call
Jack Edwards, one of the most recognizable voices in sports, was back in the booth yesterday after missing the first pre-season game of the Boston Bruins.
Alex Faust took his place for that game, and rumors led us to believe that his replacement could be a long-term thing. But Edwards was back yesterday.
Unfortunately, he didn't seem in good shape.
Edwards' Struggles in Last Night's Game Highlighted by Fans
Many times during the game, fans noticed that Edwards was struggling.
"I love Jack Edwards and cherish everything he gave to us as fanshe was the voice of ageless #NHLBruins moments and I'm forever thankful for that, but when it's time, it's time. I'll love him forever, but this just isn't fair to him."
"Sorry, but hearing Faust and then Jack tonight, he's constantly having difficulty speaking. I wish him the best (especially with his health if that's what it is), but it's time to hang it up, in my opinion."
Now, people are calling for a change.
Not because their listening experience isn't good enough, but because Edwards seems bothered by something. For his health, his reputation, and in respect to his glorious career, maybe it's time to call it quits.
