Brad Treliving Leaves the Maple Leafs for a Heartbreaking Reason

Brad Treliving was initially hired by the Calgary Flames organization to be the General Manager in 2014-15, and he stayed with the organization until the 2022-23 off-season where he chose to not renew his contract.
During that time, he worked with Chris Snow, who had been with the orgnaization since 2011-12. Treliving would later promote Chris Snow to assistant GM in 2020. Chris Snow was sadly diagnosed with ALS in 2019 and has been battling the disease ever since.
A Sad Day for the Calgary Flames
Sadly, on the morning of September 27, 2023, things took a turn for the much worse for Chris Snow, as his wife Kelsie Snow posted to Twitter about what happened.
Chris Snow has been an inspiration to many in the Calgary community and is very highly regarded throughout the hockey industry, from management to players. Many of the hockey media members also took to Twitter to express condolences to the family of Chris Snow as they have to deal with this horrible tragedy.

Upon finding out what had happened to Chris Snow, Brad Treliving boarded a plane and fly out to Calgary to be with the family.
A very classy move from a well-respected and classy individual towards such a respected and much-liked individual.
