Dzingel Signs With Arizona
It was just announced that Ryan Dzingel has signed a PTO with the Arizona Coyotes.
Arizona #Yotes have signed two players to professional try outs.
F - Ryan Dzingel
D - Peter Diliberatore
Dzingel has played with the Coyotes in 2021-22 but was traded to the Leafs.
Dzingel's Short Stint In Toronto
Ryan Dzingel had a stint in Toronto that lasted less than a week. It started off with him being traded with Ilya Lyubushkin for Nick Ritchie and a 2nd round pick.
TRADE: We've acquired forward Ryan Dzingel & defenceman Ilya Lyubushkin from Arizona in exchange for forward Nick Ritchie & choice of our third-round selection in '23 or second-round selection in '25.
Dzingel was immediately placed on waivers with the Leafs hoping he would head to the Marlies but this was not the case as San Jose claimed him.
Dzingel would go on to play 6 games for the Sharks scoring only one goal before ending his season.
He spent the 2022-23 season in the AHL with the Chicago Wolves. He will now look to return to the NHL with his former club.
