BREAKING: Ducks lose Star Key Player Long-term Injury
The Anaheim Ducks have lost one of their best players long-term with an injury.
Ducks Lose Killorn To Injury
It was just announced that the Anaheim Ducks have lost Alex Killorn due to an injury where he broke a finger.
NEWS: Alex Killorn has been ruled out for 4-6 weeks due to a fractured finger. #Ducks
Killorn signed a massive 4-year $25 million contract with the Ducks last offseason after a strong 64-point campaign in Tampa.
Killorn brings grit to the Ducks which they desperately need as they are a young team with "soft players" which Pat Verbeek is not a fan of. Despite his injury, Killorn will help establish grit in the Ducks lineup by leading the younger players and directing them on what they need to do.
This will be the third major loss for the Ducks as Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale both remain unsigned and both players are not close to signing.
