Auston Matthews spoke on going up against Canada once again, this time at the Olympic Finals where he looks for his shot at redemption.

In a rematch of the 4 Nations final, Canada and the United States are set to face off this Sunday, and team USA and Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews spoke on the upcoming match.
Matthews was asked about playing in Canada and now appearing with the United States, noting the pride both nations share in the game of Hockey.
Yeah, I definitely see both sides of it, playing in Canada and representing the U.S, I mean, two nations, very passionate about hockey, and it's gonna be a great game, I think.

Last year, you kind of saw with the two games we played, how tight it was, and how fast and competitive both teams are, very evenly matched. it's gonna be an amazing test for us, all of us are up to the challenge.

Auston Matthews looking for redemption after 4 Nations heartbreak

Auston Matthews and Team USA will be looking for a rebound at this year's Olympic games, avenging a loss at the 4 Nations to Canada, one in which Matthews was on the ice when Connor McDavid scored the game winner.
Matthews watched as a puck went past him from then-fellow Leaf Mitch Marner onto the stick of McDavid for the winner, hoping to rebound with gold at the biggest stage of international hockey, and reclaim bragging rights.
The United States advanced to the gold medal, defeating Slovakia 6-2. Canada defeated Finland 3-2 after a late goal from Nathan MacKinnon to seal the win.
Slovakia and Finland will go for Bronze on Saturday as the Canada/USA rivalry game comes the day after.
Matthews was blanked off the scoresheet against Slovakia, but leads the United States with three goals, along with five points in five games so far in the tournament.
The 28-year-old will be looking to break the hearts of Toronto Maple Leafs before he heads back home to Canada to return as the Leafs leader.
