"The Tampa Bay Lightning Reportedly Extend Offer to Key Player in Their Lineup"

Bolts Propose Long-Term Contract to Killorn

The "Killer" has played a vital role in Tampa's consecutive Stanley Cup victories.
Since being drafted by the Lightning in 2007, he has consistently brought energy to every game. Even though he may have lost a bit of his speed, he remains an invaluable asset - a reason why Julien BriseBois wants to secure him for the long haul.
As reported by Puck Empire on Instagram:
"The #Lightning 🇺🇸 have offered a long-term contract extension to Alex Killorn 🇨🇦, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. The offer has a low average annual value (AAV).
Killorn, 33, contributed 27 goals and 64 points in 82 games with Tampa Bay last season.
Drafted 77th overall in 2007, he has played 805 games with the franchise, amassing 198 goals and 466 points, and has been a part of two Stanley Cup victories."

To stay with the team, Killorn may have to accept a lower salary offer.
What's your take? Will Killorn accept a reduced salary to remain in Tampa Bay?
